It was my girly's first wordpress and it seems to work fine (you have to know a bit about Php and html code though, to be able to allow wordpress access to the files you have to upload to your server...) I've just installed my first wordpress - I'm still building it http://thewebbsight.com and you can do quite a bit with the template, and then quite a bit more if you know a bit of code. Also there is plenty of tutorials and walkthroughs out there! I guess the only reason we chose Wordpress was because it was the one we had most seen. - I've just seen your site!
